Hey everyone. I finally got internet access back at my house so now at last, I will release these recordings I've had sitting on my hard drive for quite some time.
These are my recordings of the final night of the MbD/Whitmore/J. Roddy tour back in the Fall of 2008. Well, most of the show, that is.
Unfortunately, there were a couple issues. Well, one giant one. For some reason, my recorder screwed up and I lost most of Whitmore's performance. There are only three songs left, but they're good ones. I've included them along with the torrent for the J. Roddy Walston & The Business recording.
There's also a bit of a bonus due to the same malfunction. I taped MbD in Columbus on that same tour, but again, it wiped out the first half for some reason. Yes, I have quit using this thing to record shows. But again, what I got recorded was good. There's even a rare appearance of Steam Rising! So, included with the download for the MbD show in Cleveland, you get half of their Columbus show too.
Having said all of that, the Cleveland show really was something else. You could tell that all the bands had bonded and that they were truly giving everything they had for this final night. There were guest appearances throughout the night as well as plenty of whiskey flowing toward the stage. I highly recommend downloading both torrents.
